State Specific Rules – Anti Eviction Support Cell India (AESC)

Indian Cities have seen more than 500 incidents of forced evictions in last two years. With three major urban infrastructure development schemes in line of its completion in next three years these could see more incidents. We need to be prepared to fight against these forces. In last 3 years we have intervened in about 30 incidents of forced evictions across five cities and have been successful in creating community awareness against this. We aim at community empowerment to fight against the forced eviction.
